● 1980 April Establishment of High Magnetic Field facility (Handai Kyojiba) at Faculty of Science, Osaka University
　
● 1987 April Reorganized as Research Center for Extreme Materials
　
● 1996 April Reorganized as Research Center for Materials Science at Extreme Conditions
　
● 2004 April Osaka University became the national university corporation under the National University Corporation Law.
　
● 2006 April Reorganized as Center for Quantum Science and Technology under Extreme Conditions (KYOKUGEN)
　
● 2014 April Reorganized as Center for Advanced High Magnetic Field Science belonging to Graduate School of Science
